The Polytex System automates the entire textile items life cycle using it three basic components:
Dispensing Unit – Stores and distributes the textiles to the users.
Retrieval Unit – Collects the soiled textiles from the users.
Polytex Server – Manages the units and provides real-time information about inventory status, consumption statistics, and system monitoring.

The Textiles Life Cycle:
1. The items return from the laundry and stored directly inside the Dispensing Unit without the need for additional storage space.
2. The users via their personal ID card can access the unit to get their desired items according to their authorization. The user's operations are recorded to the Polytex Server data base to enable real-time monitoring.
3. After using the textile items, the users return it to the Retrieval Unit which identifies the items. These operations are also recorded to the Polytex Server data base.
4. The soiled items are stored inside the Retrieval Unit until collected to the laundry.
