The decision to add more Polytex systems took place after conducting a detailed cost effective analysis, which compared garment and uniforms handling prior to the installation of the systems to the situation after the installation. The convincing results revealed the following:

•	20% less garments and uniforms were sent to laundry every month.
•	The inventory was reduced by almost 30%.
•	Losses of textiles and uniforms were reduced to natural wear and tear only.
•	Users' satisfaction, as set out in an independent survey that was conducted by the users themselves, reached 95%.
•	The number of staff in charge of garments and uniforms handout and collection was reduced.

Since Assaf Harofeh Medical Center chose to finance the Polytex system by using a long-term lease contract, reduction of costs was achieved from day one!
